On May 16, 2024, a workshop titled "Instrumentation, Measurement, Coding, and Automation" was successfully conducted, bringing together professionals, academics, and students in a collaborative and engaging learning environment.

The event featured two distinguished speakers: Mr. Liao, a representative from GW Instek, and Dr. Ir. Hendra Kusuma, M.Eng.Sc., from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS). Their sessions provided both theoretical insights and practical applications in the field of instrumentation and automation.

The workshop focused on two main topics:

• Python to Maximize DSO for Automation
• Introduction to System Identification with GW Instek MPO 2000

Participants showed great enthusiasm and actively engaged during the hands-on sessions using the available instruments and tools. The interaction demonstrated a strong interest in exploring the integration of coding with modern measurement technologies and automated systems.

This workshop not only enhanced participants’ technical competencies but also fostered collaboration between academia and industry in advancing smart instrumentation and automation technologies.
